TY Vivi, I posted a hotfix for it in the downloads section.

I just copied the appropriate section of the ltx file from another weapon config and pasted it over the incorrect section.

At the very bottom of the w_pm.ltx file, there are three lines that need to be changed: zoom_offset, zoom_rotate_x and zoom_rotate_y. Comment those three lines out and paste the following three lines right below them:

zoom_offset = -0.163600,0.066800,-0.060000
zoom_rotate_x = 0.003800
zoom_rotate_y = -0.000500

Those values don't get it perfect but it's certainly playable.

Here's a copy of the file with the fix applied: http://www.mediafire.com/download/1qb0ay4raynv5do/PMm_Fix.zip

---QUOTATION---
The retail version I tested it on is a fresh install, so I doubt that it's conflicting with any remnants of another mod.

I'll work with it some more and see if I can figure out what's up.

EDIT: I tested a few other guns and they all lined up properly, so it's possible that it's just that gun that is misaligned.
---END QUOTATION---

OK, I can confirm that the PMm is misaligned. I just have never used that gun ever haha! Does anyone know how to fix that? If so please let me know, so I can upload a patch.

Thank you

LB

Thanks for the confirmation TKGP with steam. As TKGP suggested as well, did you make sure you didn't overwrite another game data folder?

Anyone have any other ideas why Vivi_O's sights would be messed up?

Are you running this on 1.06, non steam?

I'm playing on Steam, 1.0005 and the sights are fine so I can confirm that's not the issue. Perhaps some configs from a previous mod weren't overwritten, Vivi?

Yep, retail version, patch 1.0006.

I also tried it with the Steam version, just out of curiosity, and it was the same way.

Hmmm, I did not change anything in the weapon LTX's and they are all fine for me.

Anyone else have this issue?

The iron sights for some weapons are badly misaligned.

Good link with info, ty. I cannot seem to find that file in my original gamedata folder though... odd, how did it appear?
---END QUOTATION---

It's an hidden *OS* file!

Select the option to show them and you'll see it.
