Hi all,

I am not 100% sure if it is required that you use -nointro, I always have used it though. If it crashes at start, try putting -nointro in the shortcut.

Angrydog, I have never seen that crash before, is it random if it crashes, are you the only one with that crash?

Any other issues thus far?

It was new to me too, I did a fresh install/patch for your mod and it would crash every-time. I searched the threads to see if anyone else had come across it and it turns out to be fairly common:

anyway, once i found and deleted the thumbs.db file it worked perfectly

Great, I am glad it is working now!

Good link with info, ty. I cannot seem to find that file in my original gamedata folder though... odd, how did it appear?

Did you only find that thumbs.db file in the \mtl subfolder? If so, I will add a note to check for that in the downloads section.

Found some further info pertaining to Win 7 creating that file...

http://www.pawprint.net/news/article/84/Prevent-Windows-7-Thumbs-db-Files/

Download page updated to add -nointro to shortcut and to delete thumbs.db if that crash comes up.

apparently it's created by the OS to keep track of pictures/videos, so I'm guessing it was created by my OS when I unzipped it. The engine tries to read the file and then crashes. I only had the one, but I guess sometimes there are multiple files created in several different sub-folders.

It's an hidden *OS* file!

Select the option to show them and you'll see it.

The iron sights for some weapons are badly misaligned.

Hmmm, I did not change anything in the weapon LTX's and they are all fine for me.

Anyone else have this issue?

Are you running this on 1.06, non steam?

Yep, retail version, patch 1.0006.

I also tried it with the Steam version, just out of curiosity, and it was the same way.

I'm playing on Steam, 1.0005 and the sights are fine so I can confirm that's not the issue. Perhaps some configs from a previous mod weren't overwritten, Vivi?

Thanks for the confirmation TKGP with steam. As TKGP suggested as well, did you make sure you didn't overwrite another game data folder?

Anyone have any other ideas why Vivi_O's sights would be messed up?
