Need Help with Editing NPC Names

First of all, I would like to say hello to everyone as I'm new to the forum.
So, here's my problem:

I would like to change the random generated NPC names (I mean the names like:Tolik One-eyed, for example).
Now, I've already unpacked the two .xml files (stable_generate_fnames, and stable_generate_snames), already wrote true to the gamedata line in fsgame.ltx.
I've changed some of the names inside both fnames and snames.xml, but they don't seem to work.The names are still the same as they were before.However, if I open the .xml files with Notepad, I can see that they are edited.
Anyone has an idea to help me out?I'm quite new to modding a STALKER game, so it is possible that I did something wrong.But what?
Every help is appreciated!

I believe the two tables must be the same as the two xml files.

When the stalker is generated his random name is saved. To see your new random names you'll need to start a new game (or wait for new stalkers to spawn). If you want to add new names instead of replacing old ones look for the stalker_names_ sections in system.ltx to edit the amounts.

That's a mod file for AMK variants, and it doesn't have to match regardless.
