Request for permission

Hi Kanyhalos.

Hi I write to you because i am giving Priboi Story an overhaul/update (With permission from Dez0vawe).

In this update i have used the Gun model for the LR-300 from your Mod Oblivion Lost 2.2.
And before releasing anything, i would ask for your permission to use the Gun model

If I am not allowed to use it, I will of course remove it from the upgrade.
If you do allow it to be used, please let me know who to credit for it.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards:

Mark (aka: LoboTheMan)

This is your problem. "[error]Expression : Ran out of memory"

I ran into that too on my x86 OS. It became significantly lessened when I switched over to x64 w/ 8gb of RAM. The problem is that you have too much stuff going on at once. That weather mod taxes the hell out of your ram and proc. Remove the weather mod for a semi-permanent fix. For a temp fix, save A LOT, that way when you crash you can just start your save back up and not have to do too much replaying.

Magazines, ammo, and bleeding out.

Have you given any thought to adding magazines (the kind that hold ammo) to the game?
I would think that they would both massively enhance the realism factor of weapons, as well as balance out the use of new weapons, as you may be restricted to the number of magazines that were found with the weapon (which may only be one) until you get around to buying more or taking them off of enemies which use the same mags.

Also, wouldn't it make sense that all enemies have LOTS of ammo/magazines? when was the last time you did a deep raid in the zone and carried 4 bullets with you?

Lastly, Is there any way to change the last few ticks of enemies health to be extremely tough (except to spine and headshots)? So shooting an enemy may cause him to go down, but he won't die until you make a CNS shot or he bleeds out... It may seem somewhat brutal, but this feature would enhance the realism of the game.

Amazing work so far, I think that Stalker SoC with OL is my all-time favourite game.

There is a magazine mod created, with a little work you should be able to merge it with OL2.2

QFT, chaosshade. If anyone wants to play the RAM-intensive mods on a 32-bit OS, they should either use the bcdedit command (Vista and Windows 7) or reduce their memory load (XP) by lowering texture quality in game and turning off outside processes before running the game.

I would not expect OL 2.2 to have this problem by itself that much more than plain vanilla SoC, but Digger_Dig had "Oblivion Lost 2.2 + Arsenal RC1+ Weather Overhauled 2.2.2. + Natural English Language (For Arsenal Merge)" on top of it.

(And belated Happy New Year to you and yours, Kanyhalos! And to everyone else the same.)

Heya, sorry for necroposting this thread but I was wondering about one thing.

Is there any way to restore the original True Ending cutscene? I've been digging for the past hour in this thread and MANY others but to no avail.

So what should I edit to get it back? Is it even possible?

Thanks in advance guys!

Is there any story on why Kanyhalos stopped working on it? Just lost interest and moved on? Oblivion Lost's still my mod of choice atleast until the translations of these new russian mods get better.

Maybe the executable with more memory might help.
