Hell that was just one page but how I decide if a gun should be in the game, remembering I want as many as possable. Don't know how the dev team will do it but this is how I do it:
Location location location...
The biggest one, if its Russian it should already be in the game, and most likely common. If its USA it has less chance of being in the game due to distance away from the zone.
Avaliability...
Can't have a gun that only 100 where made and sold to top of the line government teams. Its just not beleave able that even 1 would be in a povity stricken area like russia let alone in the hands of an illigal stalker going through the zone. If the gun, on the other hand, can be baught for civilan use then yes it should have higher chance of being in the zone.
Cost...
No one is going to go through the trouble of lifting and selling, to the ZONE no less, a gun that costs millions. This is a large faction not only on how much the gun should cost when in but even why it shouldn't be in if its to high a cost. Many stalkers go for guns which will be cheaper and yet do the same thing.
Thats pritty much it, there are other things which can come into play but they usualy are under avaliability.... for example that is already in the game is the common gun used for the milatary stalkers. Its not a easy to get gun BUT its in the game becouse its issued to milatary stalkers. Doesn't make it easy to get though. Others could be put in on the same ground if the dev team wants them in... stalkers come from all over the world, some might bring thier own hardware but that doesn't mean they should be found in the dealers on every other day.
Example:
Take the AK47, a perfict example... Its found alot in russia, as cheap as dirt in many places and civilans can get thier hands on it. Hence it should, and is, in the game.
While, much as I hate it, metal storm tech should NOT be in the game. Its an australian based weapon system, thats not even in the hands of the milatary yet and you can bet its not cheap...
There has never been a realistic game to date, death matches always manage to ruin it by pushing for more unrealistic measures to be implemented so they can |33t around... its a pitty, they are louder then us.

---QUOTATION--- I would like to see a Five-seveN and a bolt action rifle of some sort.
Its a Belgium made gun, correct? But it looks to be avilable only to government and law officer use. Meaning it would be alot harder for the common stalker to get thier hands on it. Hence if its in the game, I think it should be very rare to find and probably only in the hands of another stalker even then. ---END QUOTATION---
I think its a French gun (i would wright the manufacturers name but I cant spell it its in french) by FN. I guese they could give it to a lower class of soldiers or to some kind of colonal.
