---QUOTATION---
So my un-refinished Tula hex receiver 91/30 is just an NRA oddity. Also obviously you didn't even go to the Gunsnet site you would know it is not some "fansite" for Mosin-Nagants. Nobody in there is going to say Mosin-Nagants are the most accurate rifles in the world.
They're acceptably accurate with some adjustment since originally they were all sighted in with the bayonet in place.
---END QUOTATION---

Is it finnish or russian. If you dont know, go look at the stamp above the serial number. and look it up. The fins made just as many of that weapon as the russians. As im contending, the finnish weapon is far superior to the russian version. I have seen people shoot nagaunts in NRA matchs which i stated above. However i have never seen a Russian nagaunt used (Well used and actually scored decently)

---QUOTATION---
Also S&B and Winchester both make new manufacture ammo in 7.62x54R.
---END QUOTATION---

Great! I only use surplus checz ammo.

---QUOTATION---
Also for a "Crap" rifle it's been copied, and used by a dozen or so countries. I never called it a "sniper rifle" in fact I don't ever call anything a "sniper rifle" no such thing that is a stupid term IMHO. There are "snipers rifles". Anyway thats besides the point I never called it a sniper rifle. I just thought as a common, cheap, reliable, and acceptably accurate rifle of Russian design and origin it would make a good addition to Stalker.
Acceptable accuracy being capable of reliably hitting targets out to 600 meters. Not shooting their eye's out at 600 meters.
---END QUOTATION---

(Hence why i put "Sniper Rifle" in quotes) Now again, I NEVER SAID IT SHOULDENT BE IN STALKER. You really should stop putting words in my mouth. The War time nagaunts are some of the crudest made weapons in history, seeing as to how 95% of all russian nagaunts where made during this time, that would make 95% of them junk. Yours could be a peace time russian nagaunt, fine. But please dont sit here and act like your experiances are the end all argument. Now in any case, my nagaunt is good out to about 600 meters, so i would contend that your nagaunt is most probbably a finnish nagaunt. NOT a russian nagaunt.

---QUOTATION---
Thats guns.ru site is a good site as well as it shows the difference's in models, and ammunition. As well never anywhere on that site which is pretty much a straight textbook site does it say anything about Mosin-Nagants being poor, innacurate, or crap.
---END QUOTATION---

Well seeing as to how they call NO weapon a peice of crap, i dont think they were going to start on the nagaunt. i know you have you your view. Mine and a lot of others people views are diffrent. Personally my K31, K98, Garand, and even my Mannlicher (which is a really fucked up weapon if youve ever taken one apart) can run circles around my nagaunt.

(and you have to watch out for bad info from that site, there is some)

UN, british, and american weapons?[/qutoe]

The UN dosent have any weapons. They are a group of incompetant, corrupt, fools.

And i dont see how you wouldent find any M16's (which there is already a varient in the game of [LR300]) in the zone. It is possibly one of the most proliferated weapons in the world (AK probably taking first place) and seeing as to how the M249 is a controled weapon produced by belgium for the US to be distributed to SELECT countries. I doubt you would find to many of those.

the game is based in 2012, 21 years after the soviet union collapsed, and the game is supposed to be realistic,if they bring back the soviet union they might as well bring back the nazi party. Its unlikely they would include soviets also because these are russian guys making the game, the don't want to stress their own countries weak points. thats liie the US talking about how they tested bio weapons on native americans afer stealing their land. not likely.

soviets?

just so you no, the soviet union does no longer exist, it collapsed in 1991, its mostly called russia now, so, becase it is given that the soviet union does not exist, the ukrane is not controlled by it. and its safe to assume a nuclear detonation and mind controlling mutants would draw people attention, don't you think?
---END QUOTATION---

I know the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, but in the game i remember the ukraine still being under Soviet control. Trust me, the Soviets no matter day it is, is not gonna let a bunch of US soldiers or UN guys into their land.

since it isn't specified if the military is all russian, or partially something else, it is realistic to assume that nuclear detonations, telepathic dogs, and mind controlling zombies deserve attention from the UN and the world police.

military weapons!!!

my vote is for a m16/m4 or a m249 saw, that would be pretty common in the military stalkers wouldn't it? what about mp5s? if there is goibng to be military stalkers, shouldn't they use proper military weapons? UN, british, and american weapons?
---END QUOTATION---

All the weapons you just stated are NOT proper military weapons. At least not for this game. UN in game = NO. Brits in game = NO US in game = Hell NO. The guns wouldn't fit in as they would not be found in this part of the world (Ukraine. In game it's still under Soviet control right? Damn i can't believe I for got that!)

That machinepistol select fire version would be pretty neat. The only other games I've seen a select fire pistol in were the Counterstrike (glock 18c) Firearms HL mods (baretta 93R).
