Help

Hi,

does anyone know if there's a mod that adds M14 and/or L96AW into this game?
---END QUOTATION---

Nope...

My question

I recently started playing the Redux mod again, as superb of a mod as it is, one thing is bothering me this is the excessive screen shaking.

How would I get rid of the excessive screen moving when aiming down a scope/ironsight?
Thanks (if im helped )

NVM figured it out

Hi

I have problems to safeguard the transparencies on dds.

Until now, using "DDS Converter" for my textures without problems. But now I have to deal with transparencies and this program makes them opaque.

I tried to use the plug DDS of Nvidia for Photoshop, but can't install in my CS2 version.

I copied the plugin on all folders within "Plugins" and my CS2 seems to ignore the tool.

Can anyone help or recommend other tools?

My work protocol is: convert original dds to psd format, make the desired changes, save, and re-convert psd in dds. Until today I have worked in this way without any problems. But now with transparencies can't continue working.

Thank you for help me.

I've always used GIMP to manipulate it and never had a problem
GIMP d/l page :

GIMP Plugin for .DDS files :

Actor Wounded

Is there a way to be "wounded" like the NPC's? Just thought it would be neat to have the NPC's heal you in conjunction with that AI_Pack. Does it have something to do with actor:db(on_death) -- is that right?

Is it possible to extract a weapon iventory icon form one ui_equipment_icon.dds and add it to another one. Or do you have to replace an icon in the existing file. I read somewhere that some dds files have to be exactly the same size or they wont work.

I'm asking this because I want to add a weapon to the game but I also want to keep the inventory icons that I have in the game. I managed to change all the trader, wepons and language files, and bought the weapon but the dds file that came with the mod had all the vanilla game inventory icons and I dont like them.

Also when making a unique item how do you get the green arrow in it? I tried to look for it but the only thing I found (or saw was that somebody said it has been discussed earlier.

@ Aenor

Yes. You will need the free .dds pluging from Nvidia if you are using Photoshop, not sure about GIMP. Just make sure to COPY the ALPHA CHANNEL over also, or create a new one.

Cheers Spaceghost. I'll have to dig those up somewhere and see how it works. Thanks.

You will have a better chance of getting an answer if you legibly describe what the problem is, what you have already done to solve it, and what did not work.

Also, the two words in your signature are in wrong order.

Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
