Dev questions: Storytelling, NPCs and Weather

Hi all,

Just finished playing stalker last night and am really impressed by a lot of things. Also really looking forward to start tinkering with the engine.

The way the game NPCs are handled by the AI is really cool, especially the way they interact with the world, eachother and go about thir own business. To what extent can this be scripted?

The freedom offered to the player in therms of storyline interaction is cool too. I'm curious as to how story is scripted and if there are any specific tools to support this in the SDK?

I really, really like how the dynamic weather and day/night-cycle adds to the whole atmosphere. Gusts of wind rattling the undergrowth and sending leaves and debris tumbling, late evening rain, etc. To what extents can the weather be controlled? Is it possible to link storyline development, or effects of collective NPC actions to weather/environment?

Devs: thanks for a great game!
