LA SDK to SoC

I heard that it is possible to edit SoC maps using the LA SDK, I also heard that AA was made with the help of LA SDK.

How can I configure LA SDK for SoC? I want to do all the edits there. How to add Npcs, objects, anomalies, etc ...

Can someone help me?

I recommend Yurshat's SDK for working with straight Vanilla. When exporting maps with LA SDK and compiling them, you'll run into some shader incompatibilities. You can fix them, but the end result still looks slightly different, and since LA team changed the functionality of xrLC, I'm not sure you want to trust those maps to look the same as vanilla ones. I've experimented with it and it's definitely not worth it.

I also advise visiting both AMK and gameru forums and translating them through, Russian speaking mod makers have collected pretty much everything there is to know about SDK and map making there.

Currently, I'm over half-way done with overhauling the vanilla maps myself. Increasing Cordon's vegetation 10x (according to the amount of objects on the map now) and incorporating new models from Call of Pripyat, for example. All works and looks good on straight Vanilla SOC, so in case you have some specific questions later on, feel free to ask and I might be able to answer them, though keep in mind that I might not check these forums more than once a week.

Ohhhhh Thanks Man
