You will have to reinstall the game and replace the original Configurator with the one in the Steam link.

hey, my game is not even opening. 2 patches before, without the configurator it does work, but when i download latest (which i really want to try out) when i click on the shortcut/configurator it just doesnt appear, only the circle indicating that something is working, but then it just dissapears after 3 seconds. Can i run it without configurator? When i use the exe. in bin folder it says i dont have system.itx, can someone upload it and then i run it from exe?
EDIT: yes i downloaded the updated configurator from modb, still doesn't work
