A Man and His Doge
Got through the last run a while ago, grabbed this screencap (https://imgur.com/6gnudwy) during the last cut. Interesting how it resolves to a story about a man and his doge at the end. Its common thread, understood regardless of language, a nice touch.
The Lost Alpha Configurator began screwing up around Pripyat. Causing significantly more problems both getting the game to initiate properly and run for protracted periods.
It was my third pass at Master difficulty. Glad it's behind me. Doubt playing again at a lesser level will prove a challenge. As such expect it's curse to be long lasting. Don't want it to be like the after game, lacking verve.
Learned much along the way and read a great deal here thanks to the Tejas Stalker, DarkMinds, TM5000 and others. Even the pesky and oft objectionable Byte Me. Sympathize with the mental load carried. Trying to keep this that and the other thing ordered between versions, updates and mods.
His persistent harping about Mods rests like pebble in shoe. Next run through (v1.4007 again) will be as pure vanilla as possible. Actually feel marching around with a matched pair of Merlots, a shade to pagan for my liking. |

---QUOTATION--- A Man and His Dodge

"...may start a new one with zero added Mods."
TS ---END QUOTATION---
That's here I am now and it ain't working out as desired.
Hope'n the surprise GSC alluded to is going to be released this season.
If looking for a decent game, high on the terrifying to play scale. Take a look at Dead Space 3.
PS, a Co-Op partner is needed to get to the hallucinations. |
