---QUOTATION--- Again here..Start Game, ESC, Options, Game, Head Bobbing Toggle, Apply, Return to game.
For anyone interested:
No way to disable Headbobbing. Anyone having access to someone who can make a anti-headbobbing mod that can be added using the Configurator? I really like to play this version of the game but I don't want to puke while doing it. ---END QUOTATION---
Thanks a bunch DarkMinds. Never thought at looking there because of the Configurator.

I too have 'digged deep'..
---QUOTATION--- Spent a little bit more time, can stop at any of the 3 southern points by tossing it at proper time, but dropping in the village still jumps you to next point, which is where you originally find it. It's a +2 radiation, +12 bulletproof cap artifact. Teleport is on first pick-up, after dropping, can pick back up with no teleporting. I'm of the mind that it's more of an "Explore the Forest to find +12 bulletproof cap" artifact again.
Ok, Picked it up, opened map, teleport between original pickup, then almost directly south of road with some easterly thrown in, jump 2 is the fall, which is north east of pickup, #3 puts you in village which is target of Paulie mission. Dropped generator at Fall Point, stuck there, and picking it up again did nothing..Seems to be first pick up triggers, and after dropping, nothing. ---END QUOTATION---
The Generator artifact itself is a hybrid clone of the Gravi.
The code call goes something like this:
[af_tp_gen]:af_gravi
$spawn = "quest_items\artifacts\artifact_tp_gen"
visual = mega_cherv\artifacts\af_diablo_4.ogf .... blah, blah.
From which you can infer two things:
1) Since you can equip it for +12 bulletproof, provided that you recovered it after tripping the light fantastic, this means that there are a total of +39 bulletproof 'nailed to the board' in Forest (MusicVille Goldfish, Mine Pithead Droplets - and this)
2) If you drop it - and 'lose it' - and are having a typical Byte Me night out in the Zone (thunderstorm, torrential downpour, run through a 'hot spot' in a BJ, etc.,) you can always use the "LA:Tools kit" on F2 to set a mapspot now that you know its weird 'af_tp_gen' coding.
Other discoveries:
Having played my own stupid suggestion in MANY permutations it boils down to a WYSIWYG.
Getting the verbal BS from Paulie that he was dumped by a pal - and running back to "zoned-out" near the Mine makes no flipping diff (the dude has TWO WHOLE LINES of dialogue in the gamefiles) ("stable_dialogs_forest.xml"
Paulie has some irrelevant bitching dialogue if you follow him to his stash. Otherwise - NOTHING. It's all over with him by the Duty Outpost... ("stable_dialogs_forest.xml"
Seriy rewards you if you got Paulie to the DO. Despite YOU getting "report to Seriy" bullshittery part way through the sequence. These part finishes are NOT rewarded. AND the rescue reward is all the dialogue that Seriy has. End of story.
But to be fair - the actual reward is improved - Fungus (Toad's-stool) plus a Battery, Pellicle and 3000 - is useful loot.
Not to mention that +12 bulletproof so early in the game could be an advantage.
Exploiting 1.4007 DC as best as I can. I will NEVER, EVER use a "cheat pack" - a game lives or dies on its gameboard. Best of luck, stalker...

---QUOTATION--- Backtracked through saves to Garbage where had just accepted
mission. Map pointers direct you north through Metal factory. I went east past Zombie dump to DV, ran the fence to Forest. As soon as entered forest, got the cry for help (think you have to travel a bit south to get this entering from the north in forest). Looking at map, Generator is on just about a straight line path from the southern changer to the cry for help area. It's also lit up nice and twinkly, so you don't miss it, even if you don't have your detector out. Imma gonna go try to land in the ZV.
**Lightbulb**
And permute any of the following to see if a hidden infoportion is poorly coded:
1) Reclaim the Generator since you know where it is. Or not.
2) Meet the "zoned out" guy and do his mission (or ignore it and effectively FAIL the documents thread if you took it)
3) Question Paulie again after while he's still by his stash...
4) Report to Seriy.
5) Don't meet with "zoned out" - but this lets the DThread complete but maybe doesn't explain WHY this twerp was on the map anyway...
Any other ideas from anyone?
Too much coincidence and too little 'joined-up play' here imo. ---END QUOTATION---
