So i installed Lost Alpha with the extended patch but didn't realized the russian spoken language woudn't have english legends. Is there a way to bring back english spoken language? IF not, will this be a big deal in the long run?

Where to begin?
I don't think that players have a true understanding of what the "Extended Pack" tries to achieve (and fails in the process)
Rather than get into a pointless argument regarding that, I'll just point you in the general direction of a solution:
If you're the same individual who posted this on ModDB in the thread relevant to the "EP":

How to change language back to english since there is no subtitles for spoken language? ---END QUOTATION---
..and you probably are; then all you need to do is look about 10 comments upthread at that location, aand two helpers give you the answer.
This 'language problem' appears to be an artifact (sic) caused by installing this modpack.
The matter has been discussed in the same comments thread about 8+ times...
Exploiting 1.4007 DC as best as I can. I will NEVER, EVER use a "cheat pack" - a game lives or dies on its gameboard. Best of luck, stalker...
You could at least post a solution (or point out if there is no solution) i'm not really looking to argue, altought it would be nice if the installer put a warning saying that Russian spoken language don't have subtitles or something...
And just to clarity, The game text is already in english and the thread at moddb there is people complaining about Russian text (i already solved this particular issue), it's just that there are lots of cutscenes and spoken language that is in russian so i don't understant what's going on... if i reinstall the patch i'm probably lose my saves so i dunno...

I thought that I HAD posted a source for the solution. It might involve a lot of reading but I thought that this issue had been resolved. Sorry to have inconvenienced you in any way.

I had the same problem after installing the new 1.4007 version. I've been playing the Call of Chernobyl Mod for several years now and have skipped all the LA Director's Cuts until now.
This is relatively simple to fix. Just launch the "Setup" Application file in the first download and uncheck this box that is set for spoken Russian in default. This works whether it's the first install or re-doing it over that as I have just done: https://i.imgur.com/rIIijeX.jpg
