It most likely has allot of the original quest's aswell as new so the translation from joint-pak 1 should help with translating this.

YES!!Good you can play !
As for Fotograf,I think we can play and enjoy this new version.

Many gameplay files to translate ,we have many french files but a lot of news!
It's the first time I see this game running smooth,(well it's begginning),and beautiful without addition.

Thank you very much @olivius74. Got it working with SoC Russian 1.0006. Very nice, smooth.

Will now try with WW .... unpack and get a rough translation going. Won't matter much between Russian and WW anyway ..... since all the db files have been replaced all text will be in Russian. I prefer Russian talk to English in Stalker games anyway.

I use classic converter with command :

converter -unpack gamedata.xdb0

Finally the config and script files are only in gamedata.db7 and 9 (nothing in .dba)

One hour in game,very cool!Long time I run away in the cave!
Very beautiful game in 1.006 and seems very well optimize compared to DMX!
I have also a good PC and very happy to enjoy this big mod after terrible deception LA!

Could not get it to work. It starts with the little JP2 picture and then crashes with xray bugtrap window.

I installed SoC Russian 1.0006. Then I run JP2 setup. It creates a new folder STALKER under the the main SoC folder. It looks like:
D:\Games\SoC Rus 6\STALKER. The STALKER folder has a "bin" folder and gamedata.db0 up to gamedata.db9 and gamedata.dba. I unpack these .db files into gamedata folder under D:\Games\SoC Rus 6\gamedata.

The STALKER\bin folder has XR3DA and xrGame.dll. Do I put these in the D:\Games\SoC Rus 6\bin?

You think it will only work with Russian SoC 1.0006, not English SoC 1.0006?

Which unpacker did you use for .db files?

Not very complicated.Just lauch setup.exe in a russian soc 1.006.
I choose thes options

1. completely removed from your computer Stalker PM by uninstalling it. Your computer may not be not only folder gamedata, but even folders STALKER! If she stayed - be sure to remove it manually! Also remove from My Documents folder stalker-shoc with all its contents. This is extremely important and necessarily to perform, even if you are super cool special computers in all there understand and think it's too much and do not need. I repeat once again: it must be done carefully. 2. Set Stalker PM. When installing the game asks you to enter the name of the player.
