Yes,there will be a new version (perhaps with .db) next days.

But in the meantime ,we can really enjoy this fantastic work
just download the mod and the version 3 of the patch :
all the first errors are corrected with this ,and we can discover the old wonderful universe of Stalker Builds!
(18 levels and a new story!Almost...LA!)

Assembling additions from different authors (Version 0.3)

- Restored sounds of binoculars PM (Sentry).
- Restored texture of gloves build 1472 (power-cat).
- Restored original fonts. Now the terrible font graffiti will not be running anywhere where it does not belong (power-cat).
- Restored Text - Pause (instead of PAUSE) (power-cat).

- Removed the marquee binoculars (Sentry).
- Removed buggy sound from the controller (0.2) (Sentry).
- Removed some of the logo in the boot game. Leaving only the logo with THQ and GSC (power-cat).
- Removed blur (Hemul36rus).

- Increased growth of GH c 0.85 to 0.92 (power-cat).
- Increased spread when fired from a prototype game-74P, and that was precisely sniper rifles (kv0).

- NPC shooting at military helicopters (Sentry).
- NPC avenge friends (Sentry).

- Fixed a bug with the weight of SG (30/40) (Sentry).
- Fixed person YY (Streels).
- Fixed animation NPC (hi_flyer).
- Fixed some spelling mistakes (antonnkz76).
- Fixed aiming for all types of weapons, including grenade launchers (kv0).
- Fixed position of weapons in the hands of a prototype game-74P, an experimental prototype of the complex Thunderstorm, Protecta, SVD, SVU (kv0).
- Ispravleno in config nat. momentum of the bullet to the regime with a silencer and where clearly did not meet the used cartridge (kv0).
- Fixed damage and firing range with a silencer mounted on many types of weapons (kv0).
- Fixed a firing range for some shotguns and handguns (it was 1000 meters) (kv0).
- Fixed a model leader of the group "debt" (VEX).
- Fixed trees (AzzzA).
- Fixed square splashes (AzzzA).

- Added repair weapons and armor (0.2) (Sentry).
- Added perepakovschik rounds (Hemul36rus).
- Added bildovsky ambient (0.2) (AzzzA).
- Added BETA map on the PDA (Gaz1k).
- Added animations run on all weapons (except BM16, Protect) (kv0).
- Added animation for SVD and SVU (kv0).

I keep an eye on this mod, there are tons of fixes out some days after the release, so i don't play it further yet. But it brings a different feeling, completely different from any mod what i played.

Speaking of the Bar, I'm getting a crash every time I try to enter that area. A shame, since I was enjoying the mod up until this point.

Also, does the PDA map not work?

That's exactly what this mod is: a playable version of the early builds. Which is why everyone should try it if they have the chance, even if just for the history lesson. I could never get the released betas to run on my PC so this is great.

Real interesting choice of levels to use. I noticed that darkscape is missing, and they are using the old prototype bar/factory from I think 1865 instead of the familiar bar/rostok maps from 1935.

I'm too lazy for this, so trying to do a one click translation with promt.
The result is an alpha english translation (with some minor edits), if someone wants to use, correct or merge with other translations:

The translation is tested a very little, there is some garbage text, but enough just to check this mod. I started and played with it succesfully a game, but this mod seems not my cup of tea.

Also a discovery about this error for future translations:

It's not always user.ltx error, but game refuses to start, if in an xml between <text> and </text> we have more than 4000 character. After i cutted a text around 3970 character, the error was solved, and game started.

Note2:

Don't use the eax.dll, wrap_oal.dll and OpenAl32.dll which provided with this mod, you can get absolutely no sound, like me.

Haven't played this yet myself, but the only two 'find the artifact' missions from russian mods tasked by sidorovich have been in the cordon, and were either in the anomaly pit near the bunker ( a radioactive stone blood ), or the open area north of the bandit car park, a nightstar I'd seen from anywhere from the train engine all the way to just north of the car park area.

Maybe that can help a bit.
