And yes ...that is a real good news !
Certainly need time,but not much hard work than Fotograf!!

There are not really a lot of work compared to some models and it's classic .

This mod is truly amazing , the atmosphere , quality ,beauty ... everything is ...extraordinary .

I don't know when will be released LA but when I see what is done there, they put a very, very high level quality .
(even some object 3D are not yet perfect,water texture... ).

The lights in the labs are magic, I have never seen such effects !
The first version had already fascinated me , but there it boggles the mind !
Everything thoroughly in 1920 , this is screaming !
It 's like on the screens of demos OGSE v3.
The game is timed , it is never - get bored that it might not ! - And even packs of more than 40 dogs are now raging party game !
Cheers grenades !
It's too addictive you can spend hours and I am only underground Agroprom !

In short, you 'll understand that HiFlyer make an amazing work , helped and joined by leading and experienced modders( Macron , Sergei ...
helping to make this game a truly unique and amazing experience !

For lovers of builds that I am, but it is shocking , unexpected ... exhilarating to launch such a mod.

Whenever I sit for launch , I know that the experience will be sensational , always discovering and see a new part , test it and that's the mod in which you made ​​backups for the opportunity to come and see this part that was unable or had time to fully explored !

Wonderful! Mod will remain for life on the PC!

And always,all the russian community help again and again for further improving the game!Genious!

I have noticed that too, and on some levels like the Garbage there is no night time, the sun never sets. I think this is because an old demo version of the weather is used. You can try using a weather mod or weather files from another mod to see if they are compatible. You may need to change some values based on the names of the map. Or unpack the weather files from OLR and copy/paste text.

So for now most maps don't seem to have realistic weather.

Well i am not able to install proprely this mod. Does somebody have a installation notice in English for the 2.0 version ?

Which version of the game do i have to use , 1.004,1.005 or 1.006.
I have the English version of the game installed. Is it possible to install the mod over it ?
All i have is a x ray error :XR_3DA.exe caused BREAKPOINT in module "F:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\_bin_olr_\xrCore.dll" at 0023:021DCC85, xrDebug::backend()+165 byte(s)

Nope, you'd most likely need to modify a bunch of files yourself with the knowledge of how much the Russian version differs from the English one, that and there's still the possibility of the new .exe files still breaking with what you have. By the way, the Russian version of SoC patched to 1.0006 works fine. A torrent for it was posted on page 2 of this thread IIRC. The original thread on AP-Pro actually mentioned that it can work with pretty much every version of the game, but sticking with 1.0006 would be the best choice.

As for the instructions, I'm going to repost this from ModDB:

Step 2: Delete all from the install of your Russian SoC version save for gamedata.db0 - gamedata.db9;

What a shame. I am a Stalker fan and i really want to play this mod. It look awesome.
I think the only way is to wait for an English version may be.

So I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I'm in x18 looking for the secret documents and I've heard they're at the bottom of the lab, problem is that as soon as I try to go down to the last level I instantly die from critical radiation.
I've searched everywhere else and can't find the documents, only random lab equipment that I can pick up. Thing is I can't leave since the lab is locked.

The same radiation that kills me is the same type that kills me when I try to enter the army warehouses and yantar.

Is there something I'm missing here? The only thing I've found is a door code to a small room with one piece of lab equipment. Do I need something specific to be able to go to the bottom level?

I'll give you a hint: there are switches and buttons that may look like just part of the level, but you can use them. You need to search every room of X18 to find a way down to the bottom level.

I am currently in the process of translating this mod, using a rather unorthodox method;

I began by unpacking the modded .xml files (text/gameplay)
then I made a backup of these and used Stalker Dialogue Helper to translate them
then I unpacked the Russian vanilla 1.0006 .xml files (text/gameplay)
then I unpacked the English vanilla 1.0006 .xml files

then began the process:

I use winmerge to compare the Russian vanilla .xml files with the modded .xml files - thus I can see which lines (if any) are identical in the two
once I've found what lines are indeed identical; then I copy those lines from the English .xml file to the modded .xml; thus getting the 'correct' translation of these lines and then whichever lines that are modified/added, I copy from the (Dialogue Helper) translated .xml

I am making sure that I keep the same amount of lines in all the .xml files (i.e. if there's an empty space of 6 lines in the modded .xml file; I make sure to keep this intact), so that it will be easier to check for errors, as well as putting the translated text (by Dialogue Helper) into context, if/when I (or someone else) wants to further improve those lines

suffice to say; this is a slow and tedious task, not only because I have to cross-check all files and fiddle about in general, but also because the mod has changed the id of certain dialogue, etc., which means that I have to thoroughly examine the English original in order to find out if the text exist as another id

this may all sound overly complicated and moronic; but I kinda fell in love with this mod and although I've managed to use the dialogue helper to translate all the .xml files; I still feel that, since there is so much text left from the original game; I might as well get that original translation in there

...

the reason why I'm announcing this is so that if anyone else is doing something similar, please let me know; so that we don't end up getting too many translations out there at once

this does take time and I can't set any specific date, nor timeframe for when it will be finished, but rest assure that I am spending way too much time on this

I'll try to keep y'all up to date on the progress.

I realize that there is talk about the mod-creators translating this into English for the next version; but... I'll still keep working on this; if nothing else all I've lost is some time (and patience) both of which I have plenty of

Glad to see that there are also a few fans who love this mod!

Here we have an extraordinary stable gamedata , which allows to highlight the beautiful maps of builds ...often ignored in any case very rarely played and fantastic quality!

After testing more than fifty builds, I remember a hassle to install and run on different PC and not the same on which these builds were tested !

Here everything works the first time in beautiful 1920x1080 quality , quests ... sheer bliss for hours !

I test myself thoroughly and improves what I can this super gamedata and starting with a good translation .

The problem also is that in places there was just a word or two , difficult to know what planned to say ... need to play to see that.

The last messages on russians forums indicate that a patch would come out end February and then a possible traduction of some files in English would be possible.

Had to set the res down to 1024x768 as the mouse over on the PDA wasn't working correctly.

Nice graphics, where can I get a gun? found the ammo and suit in the village.

I found the jumping and crouching painful....

Looks good
