Be patient,I'm sure an english trad will be done very soon.

No problem for cars,in ui_st_keybinding.xml the kb_turn_engine2 is there.

You just have to set up the key in menu option
(not always easy in russian,I know!).

By defaut the key is K (bind turn_engine kK).

Saw WolfStalker on YouTube upload footage from the 2.0 release... I was really waiting on Lost Alpha, but this mod has really caught my eye Looking forward to some members taking a whack with machine translations and further editing

Hey Olivius, what unpacker and settings did you use for unpacking gamedata.dbd3? It seems to be the only one I'm having issues with using either bardak's original converter or NatVac's SoCPUP, which gives me an error that it cannot be found. The rest worked fine using that -2947ru command. Oh yeah, a bit of a foolish question as well, but do the .dba - .dbd files contain the newest .xml files that the mod uses for reading text and all that stuff or is it read from gamedata.dbd7? I know about vanilla using the .dba and other archives named after letters last, but this case somehow manages to make me feel foolish because the files there seem to all be smaller in size.

Hello

Exactly like you,I unpack all dbd with Bardak converter .
Try this ,also workvery well:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/87wh89flgdxa50z/STALKER_Data_Unpacker_RU.rar

Just necessary dbd1 to dbd7 for the mod.

(gamedata.db0 to 9 are files for original game Soc and gamedata.dba to d are files for 1.006 patch)

Hrm, I'm going to give it another shot later today. Also, I've already tried the unpacker you linked (even the EN version in case some mod magic happens and it works there), but it doesn't recognise OLR 2.0's database files as they're different than vanilla's.

You just need to rename the gamedata.dbd3 in gamedata.db3
(in other folder because existant file).
I move all archives in a folder, then just select the.db and extract it in a folder name gamedata :you have your mod!

Worked like a charm. Thanks, man! Wouldn't have imagined that it'd work like that.

Also, I did a quick test to see whether or not English text would actually work with the mod and it really did show up. At least I can start working on a translation now, it seems.

nick.script looked rather easy and I already translated some bits from it. The latter one will take a bit longer, though, but it doesn't look too difficult as well.

Anyhow, I'm beat for now and will resume work tomorrow, I may get a version with the Cordon's text fully translated in it done by then. We'll see how it'll turn out.
