Yes--I've done everything thru Yantar but haven't been to the Bogs yet. Some good artifacts in Wolf's job to get his razor from his backpack and good ones also in collector stashes. Cooked a couple of Plasma Caterpillars.

How about the Russian message?

McAfee is finding this Trojan in a whole lot of game-related files . No one else getting these warnings?

If I wear the Scientific suit, I don't get whacked when picking up an artifact. I love the way this mod looks . . . the particle work is impressive. No Soul Cube quest, but plenty of others that look interesting . . . and long-term. Zombie hands are hard to come by . . . got a few of the old lady zombie parts--looks like a hoof.

I have not tried this. Should reduce anomalies by 1/2.

EDIT: Master level is recommended. In the regular NS mod anomalies double in number from rookie to master. Gameplay changes is other ways too.
DMX always gets me with near invisible electrical discharge anomalies. Can run around pretty well in NS, despite all the anomalies.

There's two years since i last played Narodnaya Soljanka ( NS DMX 132 DKZ 02). Since then, i was a Stalkersoup junkie,but now i got tired of it.
I even managed to finish it,but only after applying some info_portions ,since the game didn't acted like it should.

So,i decided to try the joint pak . I still found three errors , all related to some russian words . First two crashes happened in Cordon,after picking up the case for Sidorovich,at the military checkpoint. Both are related to ''Saiga 12 c"" textures and sounds,and can be solved by copying the necessary word from the error log and rename the wrong one in the gamedata. The third crash happened while entering Radar from Army Warehouses, wrong texture in the ''m4a1 sopmod'' file. Solved in the same way, copy the word from the error log, go to gamedata and rename/paste it for replacing the wrong one.(something like ''tacstonnk'',this one i found it also two years ago,in DMX 132DKZ02).

I had another three or four crashes, xrgame.dll related, solved after reloading.
I must say that i'm impressed by this game. I always thought the Last Day Killers ( followed by the Alpha Squads ) are the toughest enemies i ever met in a STALKER game/mod. Not anymore. I just met the ''Monolith Special Forces". Extremely tough and armed to the teeth.
They all look the same,wearing some exoskeletons i never seen before.
The mission started by Sakharov ( after finding the documents in X18,X16 and X10 ) and continued by Wolf is very challenging. I'm enjoying it now ( already 20 hours of real-time playing).

The minigun and a truck full of ammo is a must-have for this one.
And a tank division,haha.

There's no trader in the Clear Sky base. I guess this means also no ''Soul cube'' quest and no last upgrade for the SKAT 15 armor. Or maybe the guy will appear later in the game...

Thing is, I've been running around in the Duty SEVA for a while now, and I still take a hit when picking up artifacts. In fact, if it is a 'Dummy' of some kind I also go sort of deaf for 5 seconds or so - well, the sound mutes.

The problem with the new bloodsucker attack is that the camera angle isn't thrown around by the 'sucker's attack - it happens before the beast is near enough to do that. You wouldn't happen to know a similar fix for the pseudodog attack, would you? That one seems to kick in the moment you squeeze the trigger, so you waste ammo making holes in the dirt.

That is a feature of the Collector mod add-on. Have you found any gloves, or scientific suits? It does kind of make sense that it is dangerous to grab these strange glowing artifacts. What is the purpose of the 'green' friendly Avenger who hangs about behind the building above X18 after you've been in there once and returned to DV?

Would he have been a 'red' enemy out to kill you if you hadn't healed the bandit that Bullet interrogated on your first visit?

Also, there is a file available with the mod to reset the bloodsucker attack to vanilla (which I did immediately as the 'new' version is just utterly stupid). Is there any way to put the attacks of other mutants back to how they should be?

The pseudodog attack now has you twisting your neck around during the attack. This is quite obviously badly thought-out complete and total bollox (like the blind dog thing with throwing your weapon away - just thoroughly unrealistic and spoils the flow of the game).

Its almost as if the mod's authors came up with ideas and implemented them without thinking them through properly. Somebody really needs to point out that just because you CAN do it, doesn't mean you should.

Bram Stoker could quite easily have broken off in the middle of writing his famous novel, scribbled a few nursery rhymes, and then carried on with his story. But 'Three Blind Mice' and 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' don't really fit in as part of 'Dracula' - and being a good author he knew that and didn't put them in there. AMK, take note.

Hi, just downloaded and installed this mod, and now when trying to start the game this happens:
