I can't seem to get the 2205 build to start in full screen. I'm running the start batch file and the build runs, but not in full screen. And everytime I adjust the vid mode setting in user_koan.ltx, the batch file resets it to 1024x768.
Any fixes for this?

I have read that this was possibly divided into two sections
with only the green start from the Dark Valley to the green
finish at the train tracks that go to the Cordon and Marshes.
I include the areas from the blue line to the next using the
road. Whether all of this was intended to be just one level or
two is irrelevant. I have additionally read that this was suppose
to be travel in some kind of vehicle much like that in Call of Duty
where you are a passenger and cannot drive but you can shoot.
Any enlightenment on this subject would be appreciated.
A tip for anyone playing build 2205: for English text, go into gamedata\config\text\rus and copy over the files in it which do not already exist in gamedata\config\text\eng (but don't overwrite any of the existing files in text\eng). Then open system.ltx and change the line language = rus to language = eng.

Nope.
If you want sunshafts, SSAO, etc., use Sky4CE Mod (most of hlsl code of those features was taken from 3120, it's actually their improved and fixed adaptation to SoC engine).
But I have to warn you that it's not possible to make CS-like sunshafts on SoC engine, so there they're being casted near the ground. You won't be able to see them while looking on sun through the tree or in situations like these. Well, it's hard to explain how it looks, just look yourself

Something like that, yes. Apart from the overheard view on the Zone map and the level's loading screen, I don't know if I've ever seen anything that can definitely be attested to Darkscape - most of the supposed screenshots of it were actually taken in the Generators level.

The original leak was of build 1510 plus an incremental patch upgrading it to build 1511 - the game content is the same.

So does anyone know if Dark Escape or Darkscape was ever made? I know it hasn't shown up in any of the known released/leaked builds obviously. I just always wondered what happened to it. Of all the cut levels that never saw release, Dark escape seemed to be the most obvious removal and as a result was the most detrimental to the gameplay. It just seems like something's supposed to happen when you go through those gates in the dark valley and then *poof* you're standing in Cordon... Such an anti climax.
I'd really like to see that level rear its head one of these days. That's assuming it was ever made (presumably it was at least in some sort of basic stage of development due to the references in the scripts).
