found on gameru forums : new scripts from a build 1932 (yes 1932) to put in 1935, not tested yet by myself, but as far as i red the forum thread, it adds some kind of stability and some new events actions from NPC
well, it's playable a bit more when patched, but i think what's meant there is that there's nothing really happening and will anyway keep on crashing randomly. A-Life being terribly buggy, the only way to get some kind of stability is to remove almost all life from levels.

There's not going to be any performance benefit in running build 1935 compared to running the finished game in static lighting mode - this build was released purely for those interested in seeing how the game evolved, it's not a finished, playable game. ---END QUOTATION---
I know it's not 'finished' but a lot of the sites where I read about this said it did have all of the levels as well as some extra levels that was cut from the final retail version.. so why is it not playable?.. those websites gave me the impression it was playable.
I do see some patches on the previous pages that I didn't see before.. these are not patches for this build?
---QUOTATION--- Since this uses some older tech, I thought I would try it on my laptop.
I know there is no official support but has anyone in the mod community tried to make some bug fixes or patches for this version? ---END QUOTATION---

---QUOTATION--- Well...wasnt the LA made on the Build 1935...which is standalone.I guess LA should be standalone too ---END QUOTATION---
LA is a mod for SHoC, it just incorporates many of the 1935 build maps (and is designed to recreate the look and feel of the alpha builds). So there's no way of making it 'stand-alone', you'll need a copy of SHoC to play it.
---QUOTATION--- But it wont need SoC to install or play right ? ---END QUOTATION---
Lost Alpha or the build? I got lost
LA will still need SoC. They could probably make it standalone, but they want - though I am not their PR person or represent them - to keep it a Stalker mod, not a whole game (though technically, it is cooler than any game already).
Getting back to modding.
