i think the best one is the old (not because i like advertising ) blowout mod by lssneitrino and me.

it uses several files though, but not as much as amk, and except the npcs run to hideouts, its almost the same. well it will be funny process to write these things down in a tutorial

Just add a link of the mod and write down how to merge it. It can be intergrated with any mods during several minutes, pretty simple mod.

I just had a thought, that an article on debugging might be a valuable gift of knowledge from the elder modders.

Since Jamie's articles were put up, we also got articles on weapon editing and AI map creation by Dezodor:

• [link]http://sdk.stalker-game.com/en/index.php/Weapon_editing[/link]
• [link]http://sdk.stalker-game.com/en/index.php/AI_Map_Creating[/link]

The wiki is growing rapidly.

Was it really necessary for him to write nearly the exactly tutorial I did but with the title flipped around for the weapon one? :/

I think Barin's article was written earlier. It is also five times larger. Not that character count has any value in itself, but this one does contain significantly more information. One of the wiki's strengths is that articles can be improved.

Also, there is a link to yours at the end.

As you see it is much more detailed and he didn't write it: It was already on a forum somewhere. He just had to copy it and upload the images.
Sorry that your article got removed from the list (it is still linked inside the new one), but that's a wiki. The content is not meant to stay static until worlds end.

Edit: Simultaneous post with DonReba. So we share the same opinion on that.

That AI-map tutorial is good, but doesn't cover alot of necessary things that modders may want to know about such as deleting nodes, unlinking nodes, changing a node function, etc

Most of those are pretty basic, so i'm surprised that they weren't pointed out in the tutorial. Hopefully the tutorial author will add those little details in later just for reference for those who are afraid to explore the editor.

Also there are issues when generating an AI map such as when a doorway is not aligned with the ai grid, the ai can't get through the doorway, so some manual work is required.

Otherwise good tutorial.

And for the weapons importing tutorial, if you wish to create your own mesh, you can follow my tutorial which is in my sig (not uploading to the wiki due to the time spent making the tutorial easy on the eyes and easy to navigate, not so much because of IP, it's just better for you guys to read.
