btw:

anyone can help me with a little yantar test? i dont have a save for that, but i also cant test the sun in dx8.

I have a freeplay mod savegame at Bar. The only thing i need: someone go to yantar, and take a screenshot from the sun

You did? Well, there's a mod that reactivates the unused "Ecolog" skins and meshes (the "ecolog" skins and meshes used to be the Mercenary suits, but GSC switched them). And SRP also puts back those suits and calls them "Clear Sky" suits. You can put Clear Sky back!

Also, Dezodor, I had some fun with the texts, I made myself a guy that

helped the organization by giving weapons and gear to G. and S. , as well as selling the guns and gear to other Stalkers to make money for the organization, at the time I was the only trader. Then when things go bad, I disappear when Fang dies, and I join the Military Stalkers under a different identity, then I disappear from them and become a crazy hermit in Pripyat or Dead City (no one knows exactly where) that's constantly followed by "Ghosts." (in other words, Poltergeists, who I think are real ghosts.)

So, Dezodor, is that okay if I include that in the text? Also, a couple questions about Pripyat, namely...the trader there. Is it possible if I assume that role? By replacing him with the Military Suit mesh that I gave you and giving him my name?

If you don't like that, just tell me, and I'll take out the references to me if you do not want that. I just felt like having a little fun with this thing.

Anyway...I'm almost done!

eh, but there are a lot of dialogs i just edited... like Fanat's dialog and some lohner's dialogs ... the military commander's dialog, and the barman's dialog... etc

yep, Bes is in the game. i didnt take out him, and i spawned some support for him to stay alive long.... the problem with my character... i cant give him a name like my nick... thats so ?lol? . so maybe i will use my normal name, or im not sure.

Yeah, me too. I think the new dialogs should be separated from the old ones. Not necessarily in a different file, but something more like this:

(old dialogs)

Aw man! I added so much interesting stuff to the original characters' dialogues! Are you sure all of them will be unused? I didn't find that many new dialogues.

Is Bes still in the game? I can replace him with myself...

Using the power of renaming Bes's mesh file and including my own with a texture and custom text, I can put myself into the game! Or I can replace some other characters. I'm almost done with the text, there might have been alot of things I missed, but I don't have time to fix ALL of them. And some things that probably aren't going to be said...but changed to fit the story.

Ah, that's better.

It would be nice though if you could make a list of the removed quests and NPCs for the translators, so we could skip these when translating the whole thing.

no sorry, i still dont know how to convert the object files back to ogf. i did everything, asked for help, but no one could answer the issue clearly. its soo funny that the object files are working if you add them thru the level editor, but somehow if i want to convert them back to ogf, i get a ctd after spawning them to game. maybe someday someone can help with this issue, and i can put those stuff back.
