Ah, yes - I had forgotten that. There is no known tool able to decompile the Priboi all.spawn. That would mean that you really have to use the tool you have I guess - I think it would probably be better to leave the ?'s in the file alone. I think if they were causing any problems, it would likely be known by now.

I have been thinking in the same direction.

Once I am done with changing all the stuff in the all.spawn, and they work.
I will make a backup, and delete the ? in a few entries and see if they change something, or crash the game.

For some reason the first locked door in X18 won't open. When I went into the lab there were some snorks pushing on the door; eventually they shoved it open and went through. I got Kruglov's PDA from X16 but entering the code just doesn't do anything.
Anyone experienced this problem or know of a solution?

Never had that problem, are you sure it is the correct code?
There are 2 locked doors in X18, perhaps you have the code for the 2nd door?

Well now, don't I feel silly. Since Sakharov mentions that Kruglov worked at X18 and there are documents there directing you to Kruglov's body, I assumed it was the key for that door. You're right however, it's used in a completely different place.

Just a few questions regarding blowouts, can I survive them in the open and how much will that cost me in terms of medkits and antirads? I'm in red forest (radar) at the moment, far away from a safe spot, and in my way there is lots of Monolith if I go back to the road, or loads of mutants if I go through the forest... Probably the worst spot I could be in to be fair.

How much time do I have before the blowout starts? Do I have time to kill stuff or do I have to make a run for it? I am as I said a long way from the safe spot, and I don't know the way (through the forest). What happens if I go back to the Army Warehouses during a blowout? It's the safest way back since I've killed everything in that direction but I'm not sure I would survive the level change.

You can change maps during a blowout, but you may get a CTD. Not to worry - just restart from the autosave.

Or you could finagle one of the artifacts on your belt to protect you by changing its properties in the files. Don't forget to change it back afterwards.

Run! And run fast

You have about 2 minutes to find shelter.

Don't expect to survive in the open, there is a small possibility to survive provided you have enough protective gear, and a big load of antirads, and medkits.
Also expect to repair your suit after a blowout, the radiation damage will damage your suit a lot.

In the Red Forest level there are 3 hideouts from Blowouts:
1: In the tunnel near the level-changer to the underground lab.
2: The code-locked door, where the Monolith sniper stands (near the road to Pripyat (This is not available until you find the code for the door).
3: The side road that leads to a bunker entrance in the north-east of the map.
They will be marked on the map, when a blowout is about to start.

Once I get the time to finish version 3.3 the Blowouts won't do radiation damage, they will do Psy damage instead, and will kill you, if caught outside.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
