*Sips the beer and cracks a few nuts*

Thanks Molecule... I hope your co-worker is fine and it's just a cold.

On a different subject..I've been reading news about forrest fires in Chernobyl...Was that lightning strikes? ..or perhaps some stupid bandits playing soccer in a mine-field!!

Keep safe stalkers..

*passes Wobbegong a beer and a bowl of peanuts*

Here you go mate. Take it easy on the peanuts.

According to my country's officials, we haven't reached our peak yet nor has the curve flattened. In contradiction to neighbouring countries, we are not in lockdown yet.

A co-worker of mine went home with a small fever. That got our alarmbells ringing. We assume it's just a flu, but I can't say I am not on my guard. I will have to pay attention to myself for the next 12 days. Thanks to the Corona crisis, everyone is quick on their toes.

Good to hear you're all going well stalkers...

Viking...I would think elbow and other joint injury's would be a faily common thing with smithy/forge work..pretty hard yakka I'd reckon.

The good news here in West Australia is the 'curve' is getting flatter by the day. No positive cases for the last two days and people are really taking this thing seriously now. Also we have closed our state borders to all other states and there is no travel outside of the region where one lives.
Me? I've lost count of the books I've read, the crossword puzzele's I've done and the hours of stalker games played. I wont mention the beers at this point ..

Molcule..I think another beer would be good and maybe more peanuts also, they were tasty.
Cheers all and keep well..

Good to know you are doing your best. It looks like between 25% and 50% infected are asymptomatic meaning they are spreading the virus without showing any signs of being infected themselves. So, keep your distance, keep washing your hands and disinfect where and when ever necessary/possible.

With all the parties and events cancelled, I have no photography jobs at moment. So technically I am having a break. Practically I have started practicing my skill on birds to get better in total manual shooting.

Not shooting with a gun!

I am carefully paying attention to my surroundings, but you can be infected anywhere.

Everyone doing fine still I hope? I stopped watching news, so no idea how the large scale situation is atm here in Germany. Locally we are still doing good, only 19 cases in my town of 25k. My wifes workplace is also still fine, no one ill there (she's a geriatic nurse).
Personally, while i'm still fine health wise, overall at least, was at the Doc this morning, Heart and Lung sound fine; finances a different matter. Being a self-employed blacksmith and artisan is not even paying well when things are good. (especially if you're an introvert like me and thus pretty bad at marketing )
I'm actually working on a japanese Deba style kitchen knife for a fellow Stalker from the US (Zugbarrh here on the forum) at the moment, but I have no idea when I'll be able to ship it to him now On the other hand it allows me to get some down time, I was working more or less non stop the last month and have a seriously bad inflammation in my left ellbow joint for some weeks now. And lesser in all my other arm and some finger joints.

*sighs*

At least hunting season starts tomorrow, so I can get some fresh meat into storage.

A tiny silver lining here in Denmark. The spreading seems to start slowing down a little bit. A side effect of the precautions against COVID 19 is that cases of the flu (both A and B variant) have fallen with 90% compared to normal.
Hope everyone is doing well. Stay safe.

Lost the internet all yesterday but back up now. Thousands of people working from home now, plus many studends taking lesson's from home.

Three cruise liners coming into the port of Fremanle to fuel-up are going to be met by ABC (Aus Border Control) troops. No one gets off.

Other wise it's a fine and warm day here in WA...

*Rolls a smoke and hands around the pouch.*

Keep well Stalkers

And our current restrictions have been extended to the 1st of June. Hopefully by then the situation has been resolved. My feeling the peak is yet to come.
