*snacks away happily on the pistachios, taking a sip of beer in between*

Seems we're getting some rains

*points out the window*

Well, i'm actually doing some home improvement myself atm, carpentry to be precise, building a pergola for our terrace so our 2 vineplants have a place to grow in style For the time being it was just some improvised contraption with wires in between for the tendrils.
I'll post some pictures soon.

Gotta admit though, would have preferred to spend the time to get back into scale model building, my stash of kits is ever growing, but i haven't finished one in years
Somehow there's always something else to do, even if it's just gaming. Dug out my old War Thunder account and am getting a knack for the game lately.

*Looks up at Molecule with innocent blue eyes.* Huh! No way Mole, *points* look, that window is open so oviously the wind blew your nuts all over the shop. Here, have some of mine...*takes out three very small peanuts and fills Moles bowl up. H'mm you may need a smaller bowl there mate...

Thats been the case all around Mole..Folks are doing home fix-ups, putting in gardens, vegs or flowers. Repainting inside or out. A few in my area have put in chicken coups with a few hens in. Better to be busy than bored mindless in these iso days.

Keep well folks...

*looks at Viking's empty bowl and back o his own that is now empty*

*glares at Wobbegong as his is suspiciously full*

Same here Viking, people start doing chores everywere. I too have started on chores I normally don't have time for. Had to replace the rear mudguard of my bike. Rust has created holes here and there. Took me a while to find the one I want. Replacing to me some tinkering and then I discovered it was a good moment to do more maintenace. Definately rust removal and so on.

Sorry to hear about your chilli plant Viking.

Oh cool, thank you. Spicy is fine for me.

*snacks a few pistachios while waiting for his new beer*

speaking of spicy, I used to grow my own chilis. Few weeks ago my Habanero plant died. Took care of her over the whole winter in my room and when it became warmer I placed her back in the greenhouse, unfortunately we then had 2 days where I got cold again, one night it dropped to -5°C and that was too much, even in the greenhouse.

No thanks Wobbs, but maybe some more peanuts would be nice.

Sounds good Viking, just a moment.

*Goes down to his room in the basement and shortly after returns with two bowls, one with cashew and another with spicy pistachio nuts and places them within reach of Viking.*

Hope it's okay with spicy pistachio, none of the ordinary ones left.

Thanks for the beer Sedonia. *Hands her some cashew nuts.*

*Takes a sip of beer and starts eating of the spicy pistachios.*

*Watches PCDania scatch* Fleas/Ticks Dania?

Finally getting some Autumn weather here. Plenty of rain in the next few days.

How about cashews or pistachio nuts, Viking?

*Takes sip of beer, looks surprised, then turns the bottle upside down and watches a single drop stubbornly cling to the bottle.*

Thoughtfully scratches the stubs on his chin while ordering a new one.

Yes, we have ticks here Wobbs, lots of them thanks to the mild winters. While locally the ticks are not known to be carriers of TBE they do often carry borrellia (lyme disease)

*chuckles at the shenanigans of the others*

Good thing I don't like peanuts

*sips his beer*

Huh, I think you guys are onto something here ...mine's also empty

Situation stays pretty much the same as it seems. Our local sawmill and the carpenters supply is getting overrun funnily, as all the people who have to stay at home now have lots of time for garden and home improvement^^
Recently It was decided to prohibit all kinds of larger events until the end of August, so no metal festivals for me this year. Wonder what will happen with our tickets though.
