*puts down plate with the order*

Here is your boar stew with bread and fries. And a beer. Unless you prefer something different for a drink.

Hot temperature today and for the weekend. About 35°C. Good thing I have invested in shutters, I have kept them down for days and it has made a difference. Way more bearable.

*Returns back to the bar at the same time Mole arrives with the food.*

Thanks Mole and a beer sounds great.

*Takes place at a table and starts eating.*

Cheers Viking, can't help but think at how lucky we are having a great cook here in the bar.

*Takes a healthy sip of beer before continuing eating.*

Been pretty hot here too today at 32C and it should continue tomorrow.

*takes the new bottle from Mr.M*

All good, all good. Only way to make beer more refreshing is by adding freshly pressed lemon juice to it I sure wouldn't mind some. ALso helps against scurvy btw.

*nods to PCD*

Cheers, you're sure right about that.

Yep, temps are rising, up to 38° is forecast in some places today. I sure hope it stays below that in my area. For now it's still cool enough inside, but if the nights don't cool off that'll change soon.

Thanks for the compliment, PC. You know good food in the stomach can make a big difference. Glad to be of service.

The thermometer hit 35°C here today, I spent pretty much the whole day inside. I am glad I finished the paintjob on my house a week ago. This week would have been impossible. The paint would have dried too quickely. Now I have my hands free. It does feel good I don't have to think about it anymore.

*sips his beer*

Well, there sure is no better place to be in the zone than here. You still have some of that tomato soup left Mr.M?

*scratches his head, having a look at his PDA*

Still no word of Wobbs though, wonder where he is.

Finally had some rain in my area, in some places around us there were real thunderstorms with lots of water, but here on my hill, most of it just passed by again. The beech trees are throwing off their leaves already, the really don't like the heat. At least for the coming week it's supposed to be somewhat cooler. Though the forecasts are unrealiable at best in the last months. I heard the rumor that the NASA opposed the 5G network because of this (it suppoesedly interferes with the weather satellites), but no idea how much truth there is to that...

Yeah, got me a bit worried to. He was in a bit of a hurry and got some sandwiches from Mole so he didn't have to cook up something on the way. Maybe he met up with a friend on the way to where ever he was heading as sandwiches regardless how great they are only lasts for a few days. Hope he is safe and sound and having a good time where ever he is.

Today should be the last day with high temps here in Denmark, then we should start getting lower temps and showers in the run of the week. Am not amused by the high humidity that is waiting for me...

I'm sure Wobbs is fine, as long as he doesn't get himself into trouble. Too much trouble I mean. He will pop up, he always does.

Glad the official heat wave period is over. Pretty much everything and everyone is suffering from the heat. Now it is a period of rain, lots of it.

I guess so, he's around for long enough after all.

*sips his beer as his PDA beeps*

Hm?

*reads*

Ah, good, just got a job for a knife in. Gonna fire up the forge in the morning.

Still rather hot and humid at my place. But it cools off over night. The brickwork of the house is heated up though, so it will take some time until it will get cool inside again. Don't think there will be much rain here.

Speaking of which...Viking

*puts his sheathed dagger on the counter*

I've been using it a lot lately. Could you check it for me and sharpen it a bit more?

Today's temperature has reached a crazy 30°C once more, but that will be the last. Next days is expected to be less and more rain as well.
