*after letting Wobbegong inside, the door is closed and locked*

Whoever wants out can simply unlock the door and whoever wants in, we will unlock it.

*strong rain can be heard clattering on the windows*

Just in the nick of time, Wobbegong. I just don't like this storm.

Short of leaving the road to Dead City to angle towards his target coordinates, the storm hits and heavy rain plasters the old truck and quickly turns the ground into mush. Even though the Ural is one of the most capable offroaders ever designed, Viking decides to rather not risk getting stuck or worse, slipping into an anomaly. Backtracking a little bit, he parks in the wind shadow of an battered barn. Turning off the engine, he then fires up the little built in wood stove* and prepares some food while waiting for the rain to lessen. All the while grumbling to himself that he should have taken the AFV instead and screw being recognized, but then admitting that he couldn't fit a second person inside, especially not an injured.

*older russian trucks do indeed often have a little stove built in for arctic conditions.

*bad weather rages across the Zone as thunder strikes and heavy rainfall makes travelling impossible. Whoever is unlucky enough not to be in shelter find themselves in big trouble as the wind and rain makes staying out in the open a hazardous idea.*

"Ever worried this bar will collapse under the violence of the heavy storms here? Molecule?" Wobbegong asks.

No, not at all, Wobbs. The previous owner of this place built it very solid. He even strengthened it wherever it was needed. Even more than necessary. He intended to make this his home before it was converted into a bar by Siro the owner of his establishment.

Yeah, you better be careful. Computers and lightning are not good friends.

None in my area thanks Molecule, just lost power for a few hours. I have a 2Kw generator on stand by just in case. (My beers will stay cold.)

Now, about that whisky I ask about...any chance?

*Rolls a smoke as he listens to the heavy rain outside and gusts of wind against the windows.*

Edit: 900 plus posts for me. A regular chatter-box me

Ah yes, your whiskey, sorry my bad.

*pours a glass of whiskey*

Here you go. This storm is a nasty one, I hope it will be over soon.

*looks out of the window and sees a few rookies running around*

Heh, they will learn the ways of the Zone.

Thanks Molecule. *Raises the glass and takes a sip.*
Just the right weather for a wee dram of whiskey.

Those rookies will either learn quickly or perish just as quickly. Not much we can do about that sadly.

Weather here is back to summer..31c today and a forcast of 36c tommorow..strange climate indeed.

Any word from our guys out there Mole? Hope they are under cover and safe in this weather.
