Thanks for the beer Mole...*takes a sip.*

Thanks for clearing that up Molecule...for some reason I allways thought you were on the medical side. Now I know

And I was a bit hasty about the pubs/tavern closeing...they have how ever bottle shops are still open.
We have state border restrictions going now and national border entry is getting tight as well.

Stay well fellow stalkers...

*passes Wobbegong a beer before sitting down*

Here you go Wobbs and here is a bowl of peanuts.

Yes Wobbs, in my line of work I, we do wear protective clothing. It consists of a labcoat, safety pants and safety shoes. I don't wear facial mask, because the work is done in a fumehood. The fumehood shields me from the chemicals. I only wear a dust mask or a full facial mask with filter if I am unable to do something safely that is outside the fumehood.

I am a chemical lab technician, not a medical.

Much the same here...Limit on crowds in venues and shops. Having Police visit shopping malls to keep the idiots inline. We may have restrictions soon on people moving between suburbs (shire areas) Pubs/taverns stay open. (This is Australia after all )

Read in this mornings paper there has been promissing progress in a vacine for this virus.

Mole..In your line of work I'm sure you wear the mask and protection clothes?

H'm...My beer seems to be empty as well Molecule...May I have another also?

*passes PCDania and Vikingstalker their beers*

Here you go gents.

The same is happening here. Schools are closed, restaurants, hotels and bars are closed as well. All events, for example Latin parties have been cancelled. Larger events like the European championship football and the Euro Songfestivals have been postphoned.

People are urged to keep proper distance from each other and so on. It is only a matter of time before my country goes into lockdown with curfew. Neighbouring country has already done so. No one goes in or out without a valid reason. The border is closed and hefty fines will be imposed for violating.

People are urged to work at home, but no such thing for people who work in shifts like me.

---QUOTATION---
And it seems in the town south of us, there are already people going around all suited up claiming to be officials, testing for corona to get access to your place. Didn't take long for the scum to try to make a profit of this.
---END QUOTATION---

Read about the same happening here in Denmark a few days ago. They go for old people as they are used to getting help. There were also some fellow who phoned a 87 YO woman and told her to collect her cash, credit card and NEM ID card and keeping her door unlocked, go to some place a good bit away as some people would come and disinfect her home. When she got to the place she was told to put down those things and go back home. She got suspicious and went back home without leaving her things. (NEM ID is an extra layer of security. It's a card with numbers which each can only be used once, the numbers are used for -among other things- logging onto your online bank account (you get a new card when the old card is running out of numbers). Here in 2020 NEM ID is going from a card to an app for your phone (you can keep the card version if you are unable to use/don't have a smartphone. One of the problems with the card version is scammers tricking people into taking a picture of the card and mail it together with the data from their credit card to the scammer.

Not quite as harsh as here yet. Pubs/Bars and most Restaurants had to close, I think take away is still going. In our local Penny Market they only let 3 customers at once inside as of today my neighbour told me. Gonna see if I can get some supplies tomorrow. Good thing that I live rather rural. I don't expect it to be all too worse here. Some large cities in Bavaria and Mecklenburg have already placed a curfew. Ministers are meeting with the Chancelor on Sunday to debate over what to do next and find a solution for the whole country.

And it seems in the town south of us, there are already people going around all suited up claiming to be officials, testing for corona to get access to your place. Didn't take long for the scum to try to make a profit of this.

As of 18th of March, max 10 people in groups, out- or indoors, so as examples: no having a birthday party, or gaming party, or watching a movie anywhere while being more than a total of 10 participants. Hefty fines if not followed. Only essential places like places selling food are open (doesn't need to follow the 10 people law). They are putting marks on the floor to help people keep their distance and if possible making disposable gloves and hand gel available, supermarkets have started installing plexiglas screens at the cash registers. Some restaurants are only making take-away meals, remainder are closed. Hotels are closing, pubs are closing (the 10 person rule). Some places don't take cash. Hospitals are starting only doing emergency surgeries. People not having to be at work are told to stay at home as much as possible. It's ok to take a stroll but remember the 10 people law and to keep distance. Wash or disinfect as much as possible. Until now the mortality rate of known infected is below 1%. My boss told me Tuesday to stay at home until further notice as there is very little work atm (I'm working in a bicycle shop repairing bikes)

Can I have a beer too, please?

Hehehe, good one PCDania, good one.

Our country has gone into further lockdown and it looks like the Schengen countries are closing borders. I think I'll just have a good sleep first so I can think better. Had three night shifts in a row. Pretty tired right now.

Might as well finish assembling my Lego Resistance Bomber.

*passes Wobbegong a beer and sits down with a large mug of soup*

Guess this will do.
