Multiplayer?, multiplayer? muiltiplayer?

It's a shame that the devs no longer make these games as multiplayer. Why not? It would we cool to have a last-man standing with your m8's.

These sci-fi 'extreme' racing games are cool - but they are lacking the vital key: Multiplayer!

You can fill it with as many single player modes as you want - but nothing beats thrashing it out against your mates on the track

EDIT:
Then I found this link http://www.russobit-m.ru/eng/games/hoverace/index.shtml

Key Features

40 full motion free arenas
Multiple moving objects and mechanisms on a level
Possible real time variations of physics
24 vehicle models
Realistic vehicle and object models - gravity, projectile moment, inertia etc.
Account of damage taken
Extensive system of upgrades - 100 object
Optional career game type
All accelerator types support: Direct 3D, Open GL, Glide
Graphic resolution up to 1280x1024 at 16-bit or 32-bit
Dynamic detail level change
All visual effects support: 16-bit lighting, chrome surfaces, particle systems, shadows, watre, fog, sky, mirror surfaces, procedural textures, and others
Up to 8 network players
Team multiplayer game

.... Which is right?

EDIT EDIT

Just read Q&A...... bring in multiplayer with a patch. Last Man Standing & Energy Cell would be cool in multiplayer!!
