My 1060 has 6GB. In any case it seems the 1660 Ti performance doesn't justify its current price (600 Euros, which seems to be 2-3 times what it cost when new). I might pay that much for a 3060, but even that would be a stretch.
Yeah, the GTX 1660 Ti would be good if you had a GTX 700 or GTX 900 series, and you were wanting to upgrade to the GTX 2000 or 3000 series but couldn't find or get one.
As long as you are okay with 1080p for a while longer, you should be good. It is still listed as the minimum requirement for Stalker 2: https://i.imgur.com/eE7GiiV.jpg
However, if you could afford to get a GTX 3000 series at a slightly inflated price at one of those places you mentioned before, in your country, I would do it. We will continue to see the same shortages and inflated prices for all of 2022 and maybe 2023, and the next generation GTX 4000 series is going to need a whole lot more power ( you would need a new bigger PSU ) and the performance increases are going to make them even more valuable for cryptocurrency.

Checked more stores, and there are still plenty of 3080 for over 2000 Euro. I also found a few 3070 (both Ti and not) for over 1000 Euro. I also found one or two 3060, also for over 1000 Euro which seems way too much.
If people are not buying up the 3080 cards for 2000 Euro (not even miners), I wonder what they're willing to pay for the 40xx series? I can only assume prices must go down whenever 40xx comes out (even on 40xx itself). Also anyone that paid a premium for a high end card today may not do that again in just a couple of years (personally I only make one major PC investment every decade or so, but I might be more stingy than most).
As for Stalker 2, I need to see that it's worth an upgrade before bothering.
