Veteran of the Psychic Wars

I had no intention of buying this Game, however a friend on Facebook got it on Steam and was creating video content that he was sharing on Facebook. It looked like a cross between Bladerunner and The Fifth Element ( movies ) and was amazing in scope, detail and openness. While I have steered clear of Space Games in the future, this had just enough 20th Century legacy environs to ground it, like a future GTA but still recognizable.
Unlike the GTA Games and their 3rd person perspective, that I find annoying, because it's like you are constantly looking over someone's shoulder and they are blocking your every move. This is first person which is my favorite type of Game.
Just hours before it launched, I was eyeing a Digital PC version on Amazon that was only $49, the lowest price I had seen compared to GoG or Steam for $59. However I did not get this pre-order version that came with some digital goodies. Later the next day, after it launched, this deal was gone and I thought just as well. That's when my friend posted more videos.
I went back to Amazon and was looking at all the available but unwanted PS5 and XBox versions and then I spotted another PC version now at the higher price of $59. I momentarily regretted not getting it for $49 until I realized the version I was looking at was for the physical copy PC version. It came with a physical soundtrack, map and other goodies, included some digital goodies too. I jumped on it. Within a few hours that version had sold out.
