I haven't touched Star Citizen in years but it's potential is huge.
I imagine it's a very different experience to what it was back then as all you could do was walk around your Hangar Deck and mine only has one small ship in it.
My ship's the limited edition Mustang Omega which I got as a part of an AMD Never settle bundle years ago, Once the full game releases I'll see how I get on and if it's enjoyable I'll look at getting a decent cargo hauler of some description as it would've been my dream job a thousand years from now.
Back then the ships ranged from around 60 £/$ up to several hundred and I need to know if I enjoy the game and if I'll put much time into playing it before spending that sort of money on a virtual ship. What about you, What ship/s have you got? There's some real beauties.
I initially had the Mustang and upgraded to the F7C Hornet. What we can do in the PTU (public test universe) is limited to fighting and traveling around a small portion of the universe, and also there are some missions available. You can now buy weapons and uniforms. However the performance is &&&&. I sure hope 3.0 works correctly.
The way they develop Star Citizen is disgusting, I'm glad I never invested in it, I grabbed a ship through an AMD game deal which gets me access to the game but I never get to use it (I wonder if we can sell ships to other players for real money?}.
The idea behind it is sound but I can't see it ever living up to the hype & it will never be worth what people pay for ships and other resources.
