Lord_Santa~

Very nice wide variety collection. I had to laugh when I saw the Nokia NGage.
When that first came out, I had never spent a lot of money on a cell phone before
so I was convinced that I really wanted/needed it. It's a good thing that I didn't
act on it at the time because once it was released it got really bad reviews and
I think the 2nd generation improved on that. Even with a modern smartphone
today, I'm more likely to surf the internet on my phone than to play any Games.

Of course your collection or mine is not going to be useful when The Apocalypse(TM)
hits if that means losing electricity. Might be a good idea to collect hand crank
items like flashlights, radios and dynamos. If you hook up a generator to a
stationary bicycle with some car batteries to store the energy, you can have
a means to play your electronics if the power grid and/or world goes to crap.

Here's a little more information on that Console I have:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TurboGrafx-16

It was the first video game console capable of
playing CD-ROM games with an optional add-on.

Here's a rare game for sale on E-Bay:

I don't care how or why...that is not worth $100,000.00 unless you find a crazy Billionaire (which is possible these days).

Lord_Santa...Nice!

Here's me collection of GameCube / Wii titles collected over the years. Still a few games I'm after for the Gamecube.

yeah, with regards to the NGage; I got that from my kid-brother 'back when' - granted it was one of the worst phones I've ever used, but then again, I used it mainly for gaming... unfortunately the games themselves were/are... not so good

I do have one smart-phone, but I don't really care for it, nor do I have any need for Internet outdoors, so I just use it for Winamp (it's an old Samsung GIO, basically the worst smart-phone on the market)

as for The Apocalypse(TM), I figured I'd be using solar-power, but hand cranking sounds more like the way of the future

as for TurboGrafx-16, IIRC it never saw a broad release here in Europe; I've been quite curious about it, since it's an interesting piece of gaming-history and I (as one may have noticed) am quite fond of games
I've tried some emulation of it, but since I started collecting consoles, I rarely if ever do emulation these days... just don't feel 'right'

thanks man; I know that most PC-users hate consoles (for various good reasons), but I like to keep my options open

Hey...that's very cool!
I just started a new Ebay account with PayPal so I can collect more seriously. My old account was 15 years old and could not be restarted.
I was using a friend for awhile. I am near 200 PC games now.
Going crazy...
