That's a shame... I'm enjoying it quite a bit.|
I see it as a 'Strap yourself in and hold on' kind of a game. Also, I think it has the best sound of any game I've played to date. Hopefully if Doom 3 ever comes out that will take the crown.
Of course.. I haven't played it multiplayer yet.. May never be able to.
Am I the only one not seeing servers? Or are there really NO servers..?

There are network problems with game. The only thing I got working was LAN multiplayer.|
This game just is not my type of game for coop, which was the reason I wanted to try it out. Doom. Wolf3D & serious Sam is more my style.
My game review.
"Pointless" - An expensive look but cheap gameplay.
The graphics are truly excellent and the game runs very smoothly. I especially liked the reflective appearance of the pipes. The characters are well thought out and are visually appealing. There was a lot of potential here but they blew it big time.
The game concept is horrible in my opinion. The only part that has any playable value is the deathmatch. The game overall is a gameshow with a bunch of boring requirments for each step along the way.
The coop mode was completely disappointing. With many games no longer including coop this one had an opportunity to make an impact on gamers thirsty for some new coop. It failed. There's no freedom in the game. It's just one exteremely short gameshow mission after the other. There's no kill'em all feel. No real missions other than picking up an artifact which pops up on the map somewhere.
The hunt mode is like fighting a bigger BOSS character over and over. You're only fighting one monster and they don't chase you or follow you. It's more like a match of firepower. I kept hoping there was going to be something else to it but I killed the last monster and nothing happened. The game didn't even tell me that I won or anything. I just sat there and kept playing with no more monsters!
Finally we must go on to the bugs. The game is fussy. You have to do things certain ways or it locks up or bails to the desktop. The mutliplay will not work on a DHCP network. You have to use static IP addressing on a hub pretty much. The keyboard configuration doesn't detect the arrow keys properly. Also, some of the keys don't even work in the game eventhough the configuration let's you bind them. For instance the game won't bind the arrow keys in the configuration but they will work if you manually edit the configuration file. Some of the key that will bind in the configuration menu will not work in the game. Strange to say the least.
If you like the standard coop game favorites like Serious Sam & Rainbow 6, you will NOT like this game.
In a few weeks this game will be in the dollar bin at your local game store. Count on it!
This is my honest opinnion. I've was gaming before they had hard drives! I know a good game when I play it.
