I've been compiling a list of bugs that I've noticed while playing, heres what I've found (for any who are interested and for reference should there ever be a patch.. can always pray for that).
- Net lag during Cooperative LAN games:
In a 2 player server we suffered what seemed to be packet loss for the client, its bearable at first but during the later levels the lag becomes unbearably high (most likely because of the amount of AI on the level) rendering the increasingly intensive action unplayable. (for reference, server fps never dipped below 50 fps).
- Crashing after each stage completion:
For the Client (whether it was either computer) the game would CTD (crash to desktop) after completion of every level, usually during the "skill assignment" screen, however occasionally the client will survive for a few minutes into the next level before crashing.
- Three-way Cooperative Lan game Avatar Confusion:
When resuming a Cooperative game with three or more players, the account storage seems to become confused and assigns the wrong avatar to the wrong people (players had the wrong player characters, or rather someone elses), only the servers avatar is correct.
- Crashing whist lagged server and client during Cooperative LAN games:
Several incidents have occured where the client and server have both had simultanious system hang (usually during a mass monster spawn) which causes the client to disconnect and CTD (both systems had the same problem).
- Disappearing HUD after use of the time recall ability during a Cooperative LAN game:
When using the ability that takes you back 5 seconds of game time (don't remember the name of it) the clients' HUD's would not return along with the screen display leaving them unable to recall the HUD at all (making life hard for them in general). The HUD didn't return after a second use of the ability. My theory although untested is that its a processor problem (the two machines that lost their HUD's were Intel where as the machine that was fine - the server - is AMD).
- Frozen Rader on Client during Cooperative LAN game:
Unsure on the cause of this problem. Occasionally a client's rader will freeze, never updating again (keeping any flashing blobs reguardless of whether the friend or enemy is there anymore).
Those are the biggest problems that need fixing in my opinion. Feel free to inform me if anyone knows of any fixes for any of the above, knows of any other major bugs that I haven't mentioned or is also having the problems mentioned above.
