Cossacks 2- GSC Listen For Once! Please!!

Please dont just ignore this, I have put a lot of effort into writing it:

Some Ideas for Cossacks 2:

- Fortresses and buildings, that once units are garrisoned inside, will close the doors to prevent the enemy entering, like in AC where for some reason the gates/doors stay open (how stupid and unrealistic)

- Proper animated "rolling" waves on the coast, like in Age Of Mythology.

- Proper transport ships instead of the flimsy rafts in AC which in real life would not last in the open sea.

- Stronger, and I mean much stronger fortress, like a real fortress would be (unlike in AC)

- Buildings damage not to continue to decrease when NOT being attacked, (like in AC when if a cannon hit the building and stopped, the buildings health would continue to decrease, really annoying)

- The ability to cancel/disable attack/fire in ALL buildings.

- Different looking ships for the different nations (as they ould be in real life!)

- Nations ships with thier own respective "national flag or colour"

- Proper trade, as in trade carts, trading vessels (ships) trading wagons/caravans etc. like in real life (for different resources such as gold, coal, iron etc.) (build at the trade centre or market)

- Supply Lines (wagons/vessels) to provide your troops and artillery with the resources they need (coal/gunpowder, food etc.) i.e. You send the wagon and/or vessel to your band of troops and they receive the resources they need, this gets debited from your resources, the wagon then returns to the supply post (a building, similar to trade) and collects resources and returns to the band of troops, or a new destination, the ability to research the supply post, improves the speed or the wagons, and how much supply they can carry. Same true with Ships, a small supply ship will go to the larger vessels and supply them with nessery resources when they run out, or the ships can dock and get resorces at the dock/shipyard. No game has done this yet, so please be the first and implement this! It would be the craziest aspect of any game, I mean think about it, you have to protect your supply lines, just like in real life, surely you have considered this with such an epic game, please dont leave out this important aspect of the game, when the game looks so good and promising, things lilke this can ruin such as good game (like in AC, AC was a good game, but it lacked certain aspects to make it different and better from the rest). But seriously think about the strategy involved with the supply lines, you have to protect them, you have to send them on a safe path, and think about what you can do to cut off your enemy, cut off thier supply line, and/or capture thier supplies and divert it to your camp to benefit you.

- Sea/Water animals/animations such as fish, sharks etc.

- Night and Day ( I have seen some screens and are not sure if this is implemented? (like in SimCity 4) (imagine a cannon going off at night! or a night time sea battle or land battle!)

- The ability to build walls to protect your towns, like in real life/cossacks 1)

- Tower with cannons (to protect your towns, like in cossacks 1 and real life)

- Also, Team Islands/Continents (where you and your allies are on the one island/continent, and your enemies on ther other continent/island. Adds better strategy and better realism to the game.

-I like your ideas on the AI, it is appauling in AC, and in Cossacks: European Wars it WAS actually good, it was difficult, then with the expansions art of war and back to war, they were sh*t again....why??

-Also good points about the flags......i think there should bve the nations flag, and then the players colour flag...like red, green, blue etc.

-The cannon also needs to be fixed, instead of just sitting there and not firing, and you having to fire it manually every time you want to pick and object.....they should only NOT fire when you disbale thier attack.

-There should be more ships in the game game, like smaller vessels and larger ones, like in cossacks back to war and bagdogs mod...with the yacht, clipper, frigate, battleship.

-More than one type of cannon like in bagdogs mode with the coastal defense cannons, I dont udnerstand why these arent in AC becayse they actually WERE a real life cannon used on coastal defenses and forts...

-There needs to be a cannon tower like in cossacks because that way you can place extra defenses around your fort/fortress.....

-Like i said earlier THERE NEEDS TO BE TRADE!! trade was a very important factoir during this war....and if anyone knows there history, the reason why Napolean attacked Russia was because most the countries in europe including russia and france had agreed not to trade with england (it was a strategy to cut england off), and because for russias survival she had to trade with england, russia started to, so napolean declared war on russia....so you would truly be MAD to not include this feature in Cossacks 2!

- I still present my idea on supply lines....we REALLY, REALLY need this in the game, it adds far more statgey to the game instead of the same RTS that AC is and Cossacks and every other RTS is....

I am a huge Cossacks fan and AC fan, and GSC fan.

Its ad CDV' place and there are a bundle of magnificent idea that you can read aboud, if you allready know about this place, disregard this piece.

If you have bin visiting some other sites, you might have noticed that trading will BE IN COSSACKS II, in witch manner this will be is not 100% clear, thanks for the tread, I enjoyed reading it, great work

Well i hate when people put some ideas wich are already included, & dont read cossacks II news!! They should know somethings if they are truly cossacks fans!!

Just jokin... great work but if you havent heard there will be NO battle ships in cossacks II

Where do you find out all this new information such as trade and no battleships.....why isnt there going to be battleships? thats rediculous....what about trafalgar and all the ships? I swear I have seen a screenshot of ships?

in regard to micro management of resources, why not jsut have it that you build a town hall/dweeling and then just build peasants and then they go and do whatever needs to be down automatically, such as gather wood, stone etc.?

Also is night time going to be impemented in the game? Because i know i defentely saw a screenshot of nighttime.

Well, you just have to look everywhere for some news on other site's, they frequently tell something new when GSC or CDV tell's them something about the game !!!!

Reality??

I do understand a lot about what you say, however IN REAL LIFE things may happen as they do, but in gaming the best you will ever get is a REPRESENATATION of REAL LIFE factors. Gaming is always and will ever be a Representation of Military aspects if you want real life get a time machine, and go back there. Otherwise we will all have to do the best we can to get the gaming of the period thats Represented. Cheers
