I suggest a limited line of sight which does not permit visibility over high or low mountains or plateaus.

move people faster by a wagon. (Special with large maps)

Why not making some movement of people (20) inside a wagon, moved by horses. Add one or more upgrade possibility by size it so more people get in. With more horses at front by every upgrade

New Idea to handle a lot of formations!

With the engine now you can only set 1 away point. Why not setting a route (more points) for every formation, so you could make real nice attacks with flanks and so on.

Maybe even a nice button to start the formation to follow the path and if there are more formations with a route they all will start up and close in on the enemy


ps. when will there be the first Beta test??? (like AC it was fun to do testing)

Hello to everyone,

What i was wandering is, why you dont work with different kinds of officers, like corporal, sergeant, lieutenant,... You could use this depending on how many soldiers you have. For example: 0 - 32000 = (formations) corporals
2001 - 4000 = 7 sergeants
4001 - 6000 = 6 lieutenants
6001 - 8000 = 5 captains
8001 - 10000 = 4 colonels
10001 - 12000 = 3 majors
12001 - 16000 = 2 generals
16001 - 32000 = 1 president or king

Dont now the exact ranking of officers, but i think this would be a great implementation, you could give a higher officer a greater lifting of the morale for your troops. They would not cost very much since you have to have a lot of soldiers before you get a high ranking officer. Until the general you would have to place them in the immediate area of your troops to boost their morale. Your king or president should stay in the capital city. So, with each formation you have a corporal, and you can take three formations and put one sergeant in charge of those three formations. Afther that you could take these three formations with the sergeant, take three other formations with their corporals, put another sergeant in charge and those six formations put under a lieutenant. This way you would increase the morale, fighing expertise immensely.

Another idea

I was thinking about when you have a church, and you make an certain upgrade, it would be possible to get a hospital, when you make another upgrade, you could make a field-hospital wich you could only make on the battlefield. No, when some soldiers get hurt and they have like 30 - 40

Yes, another idea Oleg

Wouldnt it be possible to implement a soldier who puts dynamit near houses to blow them up instead of letting them blow up bye arrows or canons, this would be more realistic because a building that blows up because someone is firing arrows at it or canons firing, i can understand that the building would get set on fire and therefore is unusable, i think you should make it possible to be fixed by peasants but the amount of peasants or troops that could go inside should be diminishd. Also when a cannon fires, the housings should have wholes in them and as with fire should be able to be fixed.
Even doors who can be closed or opend, so that before you can enter a building from the enemy, you would have to use dynamit to enter.

What do you think about this idea ??????

Hello every one an idea about cavalry and real people!

Joker i like your idea about the ranks alot, the proper ranks are : ensign, lieutenant, Captain, Major, lt. Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, maj. General, Lt. General, General, Field marshal and His Majesty. i also have an idea, mounted units should be able to go at different speeds like walk , trot, canter and gallop, this would allow units to conserve energy and stop fatige but they would be able to rush to battle if needed. Wouldn't it be great if you could place real generals like Wellington, Uxbridge, Bagration, Ney and many more, that would be great!

Yes having the possibility to have like Generals, Kings, ... witch really lived and played a big part in history would be awesome, if they do implement those features i do hope that its not only in the campaigns but also in random maps. About the horses, this is a great idea from you, i could imagine that they would come closer and closer to the enemy lines and go faster and faster when the are near them, dont now if this is historically correct but when they are near the enemy, dont they split up then and dont stay in formation, like in the movie "Gladiator" when they hold the line untill the last couple of meters.

Idea for Veterans


Since i began playing cossacks if my ground units have 6< kills i will automatically send them home or if they have participated in capturing a town or fort i will let them occupy that town, i reward my veterans and i think that In cossacks 2 the more the unit fights it gains veteran status and improves in attack or defence, what do you think?
