It's really all about the power. That was the message I got out of the original article I posted. It's not about the environment, noise or convenience. Cordless mowers don't have the horsepower or capacity to really push through a thick lawn. Electric robot mowers are the worst since they are usually small and don't have a human to push them for extra torque. More gimmicky than anything. However if you keep the grass really short and run them every other day I guess they could manage.

I ended up buying a gas powered self-propelled mower 159cc that had variable speed that adjusted to the user. It has discharge in a bag, discharge out the side or mulching. Mulching means it continues to chop what it cuts within the body and slowly spreads it about underneath it's path. However the mulching takes the most power and frequently kills the engine when a wad of grass sticks between the blade and circular undercarriage. As much as that happened and I had to restart it, I knew a cordless or corded electric mower could have never done any better by far.

Now that I have cut it, I will try to maintain it with my Reel mower and not let it get so overgrown. I definitely recommend a Reel mower if your yard is medium to small in size and you like the peace and quiet while doing it.

Right? Back when shorts were actually shorts. Not the stuff the younger generations are wearing now that are nothing more than long pants that end halfway up from the ankle to the knee. I hate those, especially those capri pants on women. It just make the feet look bigger by showing more skin right above the foot. Generally your ankles are not sexy so what the hell?

I recently installed two different Home Security systems to work side by side. I always keep them on, even when I'm home.
