Today we are happy to announce the official opening of the site for our new project "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat"! On its pages you will find information about the game, the Zone inhabitants, its heroes, as well as a fresh set of screenshots, technical requirements, and much else.

On May 15-17 2009 GSC Game World will take part at Russian Game Developer's Conference held at the Cosmos Hotel in Moscow.

"S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat", a third stand-alone game in the highly-acclaimed Survival FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, will be presented at the conference.

GSC Game World is glad to announce a new project in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series – S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat (working title) for PC.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat will become a third stand-alone game in the highly-acclaimed Survival FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. The project is slanted for release in autumn 2009.

The fifth annual "Gameland Award 2009" ceremony took place on April 21, 2009 in Moscow, Russia.

GSC Game World announces its S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has sold 1 million copies worldwide and 1 million licensed copies in ex-USSR countries.

Voodoo Extreme a well-known web-site named the winners of ""Best of E3 2008" awards. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky was awarded "Best Graphics".

Clear Sky's technological feature set is extremely impressive as well and the demo looked absolutely fabulous.

Also S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky became one of the finalists in the "IGN's PC Best of E3 2008 Awards" in nomination "Best First-Person Shooter".

It's key to note that all three nominees for the best PC shooter of E3 have one thing in common: they are all essentially sandbox games that let you tackle a situation any way you want.
